Why did we start a YouTube channel?
The candy shop I used to visit as a child had recently gone out of business.
The shop was very dear to my heart.
Many shops from my childhood were being shut down, these shops that had been around for years are the lifeblood of what makes Japan unique.
These are places that live in peoples memories and I wanted to protect them.
We started sharing the charm of these restaurants with the whole world.
So that people would remember them. And perhaps again go out of their way to pay a visit.
Even 100 years from now on, we hope for Japans nostalgic and beautiful scenery to remain the same.
And we hope that these videos will give all of you the energy you need for tomorrow.
